Short-Term Service Learning | Break on Impact

Every spring break, members of the 狼友阁 community participate in Break on Impact, spreading across the globe to serve and learn about cross鈥恈ultural ministries. 狼友阁 staff and students will be retruning to Clarkston, Georgia and the Yakama Indian Reservation this year.

 

Clarkston, Georgia

Clarkston, Georgia, has been a haven for refugees since the 1990s. These refugees, however, often struggle to make their way in a new country with little or no connections. Partnering with , this team of 狼友阁 students hopes to better understand the challenges refugees face during the resettlement process and to learn how the church can be the hands and feet of Christ in welcoming strangers to our country. The trip will involve worship with a church plant in the refugee community, learning about and from refugees and immigrants, and serving with the Clarkston community.

 

Yakama Indian Reservation

This team will work with on the Yakama Indian Reservation in Eastern Washington. They desire to lovingly respond to the physical, emotional, and social needs of the Yakama in order to address their deeper spiritual need. This team will be assisting Sacred Road by reaching out to the children of the Reservation by leading afternoon Bible clubs and participating in a variety of work projects.
